Duty Avoidance & Recovery Strategies
With the ever-changing regulations and international trade news, Scarbrough has decided to make it a point to educate the trade community on possible alternatives to save money on U.S. imports, more specifically on U.S. Customs duties. There are a number of ways that a organization can avoid paying duty from free trade qualification to retroactively making a duty drawback claim on manufactured goods that were once imported, and exporting them back out of the United States. These are just two of the many methods to legally avoiding duty and/or recovering what was once paid to U.S. Customs.
Join us with U.S. Customs and International Trade Expert, Adam Hill to learn about legal strategies to avoid and/or recover duty paid to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. In this training, we will discuss duty drawback, foreign trade zones, free trade agreements, the generalized system of preference, Section 232 and Section 301 (which is currently delayed), and product exclusions or exemptions.
