An analysis of truck turn times at LA/Long Beach Ports shows that immediately after the ILWU and PMA announced agreement on a tentative contract on Feb. 20, turn times improved rapidly, but also reached a plateau rather quickly, holding at the new level of productivity since then. In November, 40% of truck visits to the port complex lasted more than two hours. By comparison, in 2011 only 15% of the visits lasted more than two hours.
