Lufthansa Cargo: 3 Day Strike

Lufthansa Cargo’s services face severe disruption beginning today as pilots across the German airline stage a three-day strike.

The strike by more than 5,500 pilots, the majority in Lufthansa’s passenger division, to protest changes in retirement conditions, is due to run from 10:00 p.m. GMT on April 1 until 9:59 p.m. GMT on April 4.

The strike will be the third stoppage at Frankfurt airport, Lufthansa Cargo’s global hub, in the past six weeks.
