Cooperation with Mexico on exports of non-traditional farm goods

The governments of Mexico and Chile are carrying out a project to generate guidelines and good environmental practices aimed at strengthening exports of non-traditional agricultural products. They have also agreed to collaborate on issues related to the use of information platforms concerning pests and diseases to generate early warnings in different climate scenarios.

Provisional AD duty on concrete steel bar from Mexico amended

Chile has lowered from 13.10 percent to 11.01 percent the provisional antidumping duty on certain concrete steel bar made in accordance with Chilean standard NCh204 Of.2006, classified under HTSCL 7213.1000, 7214.2000, 7227.9000, and 7228.3000, from Mexico. The amended measure will be in place for two months from Sept. 17.
