Colombia has been a loyal US ally for a long time. It is great to see that Missouri is tightening this relationship and taking the initiative to sign this commercial agreement. This agreement will bring more business and jobs to Missouri and will also give the opportunity for residents  in Missouri to know more about Colombia.

This is the beginning for a long relationship and great opportunities for companies in Missouri to increase exports, not just to Colombia but other countries in Latin America.

Lina's Picture“The United States continues to be the most important destination for Colombian exports. Therefore, the recent trade agreement signed between Missouri and Colombia would be very beneficial for Colombia’s growing economy. Colombia is a strong economic force in the region and it is adding even more value by continuing to implement new FTA’s.

As a native Colombian, I am very excited to see how the government continues to provide business resources and tools for to increase growth. This new agreement is an open door, full of opportunities for many businesses both here in the United States and Colombia. I cannot wait to see what this new alliance will unfold for both countries in the upcoming 5 years .”
