New procedures adopted for customs samples

Argentina has adopted new procedures to obtain and analyze samples of imported and exported goods to determine their correct classification and value. The new procedures address such issues as the definition of a sample; the process to obtain samples, including special cases, opening of packages, and quantity and preservation of samples; presentation and identification of samples, including analysis requests; and transportation of samples.
