The Future of Transportation in America

By: KC Chamber

Transportation infrastructure and funding are reaching a crisis point. With nearly one in four bridges structurally deficient or functionally obsolete, an $86 billion backlog in public transportation funding, and the future of the Highway Trust Fund in doubt, it’s time to talk about aligning decisions with dollars. Join the KC Chamber and Polsinelli for a discussion about the future of Transportation in America with the nation’s top transportation official, U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx, on Wednesday, August 19.

The event will be held from 8:00-9:30 a.m. in the Chamber Board Room at Union Station, 30 W Pershing Road. Chamber members and non-members may register online here. Public Policy Council members should contact Paula Bustamante to make their reservation:  call (816) 374-5406 or email bustamante@kcchamber.com.
