TP-Eastbound Airfreight Cargo Rates expected to see Relief

With the Golden Week holiday now upon us, TransPacific Eastbound Airfreight is expected to see a bit of relief to the US markets.

Depositphotos_id1974With major electronic players pushing out cargo in advance of the week long holiday, a decrease in demand is expected upon return to normal operations.  With its release of the iPhone 6s in the past 2 weeks, cargo demand is set to lessen with capacity opening, which means rates are likely to decrease.

Similar shifts have been seen in the past few years due to the high demand of the latest gadgets.  Check out some old posts on this here.

Do not expect the trend to continue for long as the holiday season approaches rapidly.  Ship your airfreight needs early to take advantage of the mitigated market.
